Built from necessity, function and style, the Floorboard Exhaust Guard prevents burned boots and unsightly heel marks on pipes. It also prevents your expensive nose cone covers from scratching and yellowing. It is triple chrome plated or powder-coated (different colors available) and is manufactured of 20 gauge stamped steel. Mounting is simple, utilizing two #8 stainless steel button-head allen screws by simply pinching the shaker board rubbers and pulling them through their holes and drilling two 3/16" holes in the lower floorboard. The profile has been kept low to maintain the look, but is tall enough for function.
